Talk tech, lighting, and theory with Carey King as you hit the streets to photograph some of Charlotte’s most popular neighborhoods. You will be encouraged to explore your surroundings as well as themes in your photography work.

Photography means to write with light. And while understanding how to manipulate and use light can be quite intimidating, it’s critical for anyone hoping to master the photographic arts.
We will go over everything from image quality, resolution, and size to paper options. Seeing an image come alive during the printing process is exciting!
This workshop is designed to get you out of your comfort zone and into cutting, tearing, and reassembling your images with collage materials to make vibrant contemporary Photo Works!
