Photographing 2D Artwork

Do you have paintings or images that you need to submit digitally or reproduce? You’d be surprised, but photographing artwork can be quite challenging. Whether you are an artist or a photographer working with an artist, this class is for you.

This course will show you several different ways to photograph your work for the purpose of high-quality reproduction. You will learn lighting setups, the best equipment, glare reduction, and framing.

You will also learn how to edit your images in post to get the best quality for reproduction. As well as which software to use!

Cancelation Policy

The Light Factory reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule courses to adjust for enrollment and to change course instructors when necessary. If The Light Factory cancels a course for any reason, each registered participant will be informed as soon as possible and will have the opportunity to transfer to another course.

Fees must be paid at the time of registration. You must cancel a minimum of five days before the course start date to receive a refund. No refunds will be made for canceling on the day of the course or after the course has started.

The Light Factory does not offer make-up courses or tuition reimbursement for student absenteeism. This policy applies to all students of all ages, including adults.
