Learning to See: Pre-visualization for Better Photography

Pre-visualization is about slowing down and becoming more intentional with your photography. Instead of simply reacting to what’s in front of you, you’ll learn how to recognize a photograph before you ever press the shutter. Through discussion, practical exercises, and guided critiques, we’ll explore composition, light, visual storytelling, and the small decisions that can transform a snapshot into a meaningful photograph. Whether you’re new to photography or have been shooting for years, you’ll leave seeing the world—and your images—a little differently.
Cancelation Policy
The Light Factory reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule courses to adjust for enrollment and to change course instructors when necessary. If The Light Factory cancels a course for any reason, each registered participant will be informed as soon as possible and will have the opportunity to transfer to another course.
Fees must be paid at the time of registration. You must cancel a minimum of five days before the course start date to receive a refund. No refunds will be made for canceling on the day of the course or after the course has started.
The Light Factory does not offer make-up courses or tuition reimbursement for student absenteeism. This policy applies to all students of all ages, including adults.
