2023
SUMMER CAMPS

Summer will be here before you know it and we’re looking forward to a safe and fun in-person 2023 camps season.
Registration will open in March 2023.

Camp Bonus: Each year, at the end of the summer, we host a Summer Camp Exhibition in our gallery to showcase the incredible work created by all of our camp goers. It’s an event not to be missed.

Scroll down to see our offerings for the coming summer!

Our summer camps will bring in Middle and High School students from all over Charlotte to make art, build relationships, and learn new skills. Some students will use the art they make in our camps to apply to art schools across the nation! This is one reason that creating accessibility to TLF Photo Camps is extremely important. Please consider sponsoring a camper and help ensure TLF can continue its mission to empower and inspire through photography education.

The Light Factory is excited to offer camp scholarships for our 2023 season.

If you have questions about a course or the needed equipment, please get in touch with a member of our staff.

The Light Factory reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule courses to adjust for enrollment and to change course instructors when necessary. If The Light Factory cancels a course for any reason, each registered participant will be informed as soon as possible and will have the opportunity to transfer to another course.

Fees must be paid at the time of registration. You must cancel a minimum of five days before the course start date to receive a refund. No refunds will be made for canceling on the day of the course or after the course has started.

The Light Factory does not offer make-up courses or tuition reimbursement for student absenteeism. This policy applies to all students of all ages, including adults.
