Vice Versa is a quarterly event held by The Light Factory that is focused on providing opportunities for local artists, promoting artistic collaboration, and presenting work that engages various Charlotte communities. By combining photography with another art form, two collaborators will create work to be presented in a one-night pop-up experience that will take place in different locations throughout the Queen City. The program encourages experimentation and innovation between the two collaborative artists, and each Vice Versa presentation will include a conversation between the artists and a Q&A with the audience.

Vice Versa 01 featured Toni Lovejoy (@mynameis.lovejoy) and de’Angelo Dia (@1518dia), who presented Sacred Stories on Wednesday, June 19, at Free Range Brewing from 7 – 9 pm. Their pop-up exhibition attempted to redefine what sacred means through photography, video installations, and poetry.
